About Families On Track
On 12 September 2026, Worcester Racecourse hosts Families On Track, a 10K road running event designed around family participation. Teams of three to five work together to cover the distance, with members of different ages and abilities taking turns on a safe, closed course. Runners can choose from 250m, 500m, or 750m to 1K laps, completing individual legs before handing over in a dedicated Family Zone.
Once a team has completed 10K between them, all family members join together for a final leg to the finish. The event provides a dedicated family pen for supporters to cheer from, with all participants receiving a medal and T-shirt.
