About Ferring "5 'n' 5" West Sussex
Worthing's Ferring Country Centre hosts this summer running event on 9 July 2027, with participants choosing between a 5 km or 5 mile trail route. Both courses loop from the centre along the Ferring Rife, a waterway that flows down to the sea at East Preston between Worthing and Littlehampton, and extend onto the private seafront beyond.
Raw Energy Pursuits Ltd organises the event in partnership with volunteers from the centre. All profits support Ferring Country Centre's work with people with learning disabilities, funding activities including woodwork, gardening, riding therapy and cooking across the centre's 32-acre site.
