About Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run
Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run takes place on 20 September 2026 at Skippers Fish & Chips in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. The event offers three distances across trail terrain: a 5 km race, a 1600 metre run for primary school age children up to 14 years, and an 800 metre fun run also open to under-14s.
The 5 km welcomes participants over 5 years old, though children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult throughout. For the 800 metre distance, children under 5 require adult supervision, and the trail terrain may present challenges for some buggies. All finishers receive medals, with additional prizes awarded for first boy and girl in the two shorter distances and placings in the senior 5 km race. Tea, coffee, bacon rolls and ice cream are available from the venue's refreshments facilities.
