About Gatliff Marathon
Taking place on 17 October 2026, the Gatliff Marathon offers participants a choice between 25 km and 50 km trail routes through the Kent, Surrey and Sussex countryside. Based at Edenbridge Cricket Club, the event is now in its 42nd year and uses a different route each year, with entrants provided in advance with route descriptions, what3words references and a GPX file to navigate the footpaths and tracks.
Participants have ten hours to complete their chosen distance. Those tackling the longer 50 km route will find lunch provided at a checkpoint, while snacks and drinks are available at all checkpoints. First aid cover is provided by a specialist outdoor sports events provider, and at the finish hot food, refreshments and showering facilities are available to all finishers.
