About Get the Hull Out of Here Summer
Taking place on 28 August 2027, Get the Hull Out of Here Summer Edition offers trail runners three distance options: 10 km, 10 miles, and 20 miles. Based at Stoneferry Primary School in Kingston Upon Hull, the event follows the TransPennine Trail and Hornsea Rail Trail, taking runners out of the city and into the surrounding countryside across flat, even terrain.
The event is organised by Its Grim Up North Running and licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules. Marshals and signage guide runners around the course, with feed and drink stations positioned approximately every three miles. The event operates on a cup-less basis, so runners should bring their own reusable cup or bottle. Finishers receive a bespoke medal.
