About Gigha Run
Trail running comes to the Isle of Gigha on 26 September 2026 with this looped course that takes in aggregate paths, farm tracks and road sections across the island's landscape. Starting from Gigha Village Hall in Ardminish, the route heads west towards Keill cottages before turning south across Achamore Farm, then continues to Leim crossroads and back via a farm track and the main road. Runners can choose to complete one lap of 4.5 km or tackle two laps for 9 km, though the course includes uneven sections throughout.
Organised by Campbeltown Running Club, the event is capped at 100 runners and supports the development of the Gigha paths network through its proceeds. Dogs are not permitted on the run.
