About Gisborough Moors
Gisborough Moors is a fell race across the North York Moors, starting from Guisborough on 6 December 2026. The 12.4-mile course climbs 850 metres as it winds through the moorland terrain. Runners aged 18 and over can take part, with team entry available for groups of four men or three women.
The race is part of both the Esk Valley winter series and the Lets Run series. Participants should bring a printed race map, and car sharing is recommended as parking in the town rather than at the venue. The event holds a permit and UK Athletics insurance through the FRA.
