About Glen Ogle 33 Ultra Marathon
Glen Ogle 33 offers a substantial trail challenge through the Perthshire landscape, starting and finishing in Killin on 7 November 2026. The 33-mile route takes in the Falls of Dochert, the Glen Ogle Viaduct and passes near Balquidder, historic burial place of Rob Roy MacGregor, before heading towards Strathyre and the Shoogly Bridge at the halfway point. The return leg climbs onto the Rob Roy Way, passes the Mhor 84 hotel and crosses the viaduct again before a final four-mile descent back to Killin.
Runners must check in and out of Strathyre by 12.30pm or will be withdrawn from the race. Water and checkpoint stations are positioned at 4, 8 and 16 miles. Drop bags are available at the halfway point. November conditions in the Scottish Highlands can be severe, so mandatory and recommended kit requirements will apply.
