About Glencoe Marathon
WildFox Events Ltd organises this trail running event across the Scottish Highlands, where two distances offer contrasting experiences of mountain terrain. The Full Marathon starts at the foot of Ben Nevis and finishes in Glencoe, following hill and mountain trails throughout. The Half Marathon joins the main course at Kinlochleven and includes the Devil's Staircase section of the route. Both distances take runners through off-road terrain across ancient highland routes.
Taking place on 6 September 2026, the Glencoe Marathon Gathering offers participants the choice between 26.2 miles or 13.1 miles of trail running in the Highlands.
