About Glenmore 24 Trail Race
Glenmore 24 takes runners into Glenmore Forest near Loch Morlich on off-road trail terrain. The course is a looped trail through the forest, passing the loch, with a water stop at two miles and a short hill between two and three miles. Participants can choose to race for either 12 or 24 hours on the same route, with all completed four-mile laps counted towards their total.
The event runs across the weekend of 5 and 6 September 2026. Support crews are permitted but must remain based at the Hayfield, which serves as the start-finish and welfare area. Twelve-hour entrants may have one crew member in attendance; 24-hour entrants may bring two. Runners will need to prepare for self-sufficiency on the trails, with mandatory kit including a foil blanket, water container, food, mobile phone, first aid kit and race vest.
