About Golden Ball 20 & Riverside 10
Established by Lancaster Runners, the Golden Ball 20 & Riverside 10 offers runners a choice of distances on the same day. Both the 20 mile and 10 mile races start at 11:00 on 30 August 2026, following flat routes across the riverside paths and roads around Lancaster and the surrounding district. The races begin and finish at the Trimpell Club.
The 20 mile option works well for those building towards an autumn marathon or targeting a longer road race distance. The flat profile and accurately measured course lend themselves to strong performances, while the late summer timing slots neatly into marathon training schedules. All finishers receive a medal, with 20 mile finishers also receiving an event T shirt.
