About Goring Gap Trails
The Goring Gap Trails Festival takes place around Mapledurham House near Reading across 22 and 23 May 2027, with trail running and walking events set along the River Thames and through the Chiltern Hills villages. The predominantly flat, waymarked routes require no navigation skills, with marshalled support in trickier sections and village hall stations offering drinks, refreshments and rest stops along the way.
Participants can access online tracking and published results for their event. The festival village at Mapledurham House provides free parking, registration, catering and a bar. Overnight camping is available before and during the festival, with hot showers and toilet facilities; camper vans are welcome. Distances of 50 miles and 52 kilometres are available across the weekend's programme.
