About Gosport Half Marathon
The Gosport Half Marathon takes place on 15 November 2026 across a flat, fast road course in Hampshire. This two-lap route features a scenic stretch along the Lee-on-the-Solent promenade with views towards the Isle of Wight, and the start line sits just 140 metres from Race Headquarters.
The 13.1-mile course has delivered strong personal best times in previous years, with the top eight men finishing under 73 minutes and the top eight women inside 88 minutes. Runners will find five water stations along the route and support from over 200 marshals and volunteers, including a Samba Drum Band at the four- and 10.5-mile marks. A Fun Run for under-12s and a Challenge Race for under-17s take place before the main event. The race forms part of the Hampshire Road Race League and regularly attracts around 2,000 entrants with a good mix of club and non-club runners.
