Three distances follow the Grand Western Canal towpath on this autumn running event in mid Devon. The 10 km, half marathon and marathon all use the same flat route along hard packed gravel paths, starting from Tiverton Canal Basin and running out to Sampford Peverell before turning back. The half marathon finishes at Tiverton; marathon runners complete the course twice. With approximately 90 feet of ascent over the half marathon distance and 180 feet across the full marathon, this is a notably level trail run.
