About Grantchester Charity Runs
Grantchester Charity Runs is a volunteer-led event supporting Maggie's Centre Cambridge and ACT, the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust. Taking place on 27 September 2026, the 10 km trail race runs through farmland adjacent to Grantchester, just outside Cambridge. The route is mixed terrain and predominantly flat with no road crossings, starting from Mill Way near the Orchard Tea Garden.
The event includes a team competition for the 10k distance. Parking is available at Grantchester Village Charity Car Park on the road to Trumpington, with bike parking near registration. A warm-up session led by an instructor from the Frank Lee Centre will take place before racing begins, and post-run treatments and advice in sports massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy and podiatry will be offered by Coach House Health Care.
