About Great Yarmouth Half Marathon
Taking place in August across the Norfolk and Suffolk countryside, the Great Yarmouth Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles of road running. The route starts and finishes at Ormiston Venture Academy in Gorleston, passing through Ashby, Lound and Somerleyton before traversing the grounds of Somerleyton Hall. The course is undulating throughout.
Organised by Great Yarmouth Road Runners, the event is established on the regional racing calendar and caters to runners of all abilities. The race is professionally marshalled with water station support in place. Finishers receive a commemorative medal and event t-shirt, with trophies awarded to leading finishers and age category winners.
