About Guided Trail Run - Moel y Gamelin
The Berwyn slate quarries around Llangollen form the backdrop for this guided trail run across Llantysilio Mountain. Starting from Ponderosa cafe, the 7 km route takes in the summits of Moel y Faen and Moel y Gamelin using local mountain trails, led by OutFit Personal Fitness Ltd on 23 August 2026.
The run is paced steadily with regular regroups built in, allowing participants to stay together as a group and take breaks as needed throughout the outing. The terrain is trail-based across the mountain landscape.
