About Gut Buster
Held on Boxing Day at Butlers Lands Farm in Mortimer, the Gut Buster is a year-end cross-country fixture offering 10 km and 10 mile trail routes. The courses take in water crossings, sections near Roman walls, open fields and footpaths, with the final 400 metres subject to variation depending on local farming and crop rotation.
The event draws on volunteer support to operate across the day. Runners finishing the course will find mulled wine and mince pies at the finish area, with additional refreshment options planned locally.
