About Hadleigh Legacy 10K
This 10 km trail race demands proper preparation. Hadleigh Legacy takes place over undulating terrain at Hadleigh Country Park in Essex on 28 February 2027, featuring steep climbs and descents alongside technical sections and deep mud. Trail shoes are mandatory. The single-lap closed circuit course occasionally sees walkers and dog walkers, and detailed route maps including GPX files are provided to help runners familiarise themselves beforehand.
The event operates multiple wave starts, with an elite wave followed by further groups. Every finisher receives a medal, and trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. Free photographs are included as part of the race package. On-site parking is available, with the car park a short walk from race headquarters; disability access arrangements can be requested. Benfleet railway station is approximately 2.5 miles from the venue.
