About Harbour Wallbanger
Taking place on 20 September 2026, the Harbour Wallbanger is a 7 km trail race organised by Sporting Events UK in partnership with Thanet Roadrunners AC. The route begins on the beach at Broadstairs at low tide, extends to Ramsgate where runners reach the Harbour Wall before returning to the starting point.
The event welcomes runners of varying abilities and offers individual prizes for the top three male and female finishers, along with age-category awards for VET40, VET50 and VET60 runners. Team entries are also available, requiring three runners from clubs or informal groups. Facilities at the venue include toilets and refreshments, with parking available locally. Results are published live as runners cross the finish line. The minimum age to compete is 15 years old on race day.
