About Hardwick X-Stream
Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club hosts this cross country race across private farmland near Aylesbury. Taking place on 18 October 2026, the Hardwick X-Stream covers 6 miles of undulating off-road terrain including grassland, ploughed fields and farm tracks. The route features water crossings at streams and ditches; stream depth varies with weather conditions and the course may be adjusted accordingly. The terrain is suitable for running in spikes, and the route will be clearly marked and marshalled throughout.
The race is limited to 300 runners and requires a minimum age of 17. Race headquarters is at John Bridles Village Hall in Hardwick (HP22 4DZ), where portable toilets and limited changing facilities are available. Water is provided at the finish, along with hot drinks and food in the hall. First aid cover will be on site. Parking is limited adjacent to the start area, and car sharing is encouraged. Prizes and finishers mementos are awarded across age categories and to qualifying team entries.
