About Harewood 24
The Harewood Trail Festival in Abbotsted, Test Valley, Hampshire, offers runners the chance to take on a 24-hour endurance challenge across trail terrain on 29 May 2027. The course consists of repeated 5-mile loops, with illuminated sections for night running, and competitors can enter as soloists, pairs, or teams of up to eight people.
Solo runners tackle the full 24 hours continuously, managing their own runs and rest periods as they see fit. Those without a crew benefit from a dedicated tent area near the start-finish line, access to hot water throughout the event, and a drop-off zone for essentials. Pairs and teams adopt a relay format, with only one member on the course at a time, allowing teammates to recover between efforts. Small teams comprise three to five members, while large teams range from six to eight.
The event provides onsite camping, parking, and catering facilities. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in male, female, and mixed categories across solo, pair, and team divisions.
