About Harkerside Hustle
Trail runners looking for a half marathon finale to the DalesRunner short course series will find the Harkerside Hustle on 4 October 2026. Starting and finishing at The Dales Bike Centre in Reeth, the 13.1-mile route loops through Swaledale's moorland landscape, taking in Harkerside Moor, Whitaside Moor, the Height of Greets, and Apedale via moorland trods, hard-packed tracks and grassy paths. The course also passes an iron age farmstead, Grinton Smelt Mill and Sharrow Hill before returning to base.
The race is open to runners aged 16 and over. A finishers soup and roll comes with entry, while hot drinks and cakes are available to purchase from the cafe. Fully stocked aid stations are positioned along the route, including vegan and gluten-free options. Car parking is provided at the venue.
