About Hayling 10
A 10-mile road race that takes in some distinctive terrain around Hayling Island, the Hayling 10 starts at Bacon Lane in Havant and winds through West Town before heading north into West Lane. Around the 1.5-mile mark, the route shifts onto the old Hayling Billy railway line, a well-made footpath that offers a fast section before returning to roads at the halfway point. From there, the course continues to a water station at the Ferry Boat pub, then stretches along the seafront to Eaststoke before heading back inland to finish at the playing fields and community centre at Bacon Lane.
