About High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring
Thetford Forest provides the setting for this spring half marathon, where runners take on a 13.1-mile circular trail route through West Suffolk. The course mixes hard-packed trails, grassy footpaths and forest routes, passing through varied terrain and wildlife areas including sections of hard-packed sand.
The event is manually timed and traffic-free, with fresh drinking water available at points along the route for runners to refill their own bottles. Top three finishers in both male and female categories receive podium trophies, and professional photography will be on hand. Participants must be at least 17 years old and complete the course within the 3.5-hour cut-off. Given the mixed terrain, grippy footwear is essential. Race numbers are collected at the start on 4 April 2027.
