About High Peak 40
The High Peak 40 celebrates its 40th anniversary on 19 September 2026, taking runners on a 40 km trail ultramarathon through Buxton in Derbyshire. The route combines trails and road sections, with both the start and finish based at Buxton Crescent Hotel and Spa.
Runners have 14 hours to complete the course. Participants must be 18 or older on the day of the event.
