About Hip Hip Hooray it's Hornsea
Hip Hip Hooray It's Hornsea takes runners along the Trans Pennine Trail, following an out-and-back route on generally flat, good-quality paths. Held on 4 September 2027 at Conservatory II in Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, the trail event is licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules.
Five distance options are available: 10 km, 10 miles, 13.1 miles, 20 miles and 26.2 miles. The course is marshalled and signed throughout, with feed and drink stations positioned approximately every three miles. Runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle as the event operates on a cupless basis. Toilets are available at the nearby Leisure Centre, and there are some road crossings along the route.
