About Hoad Hill Harriers Autumn 5k & Fun Run
A 5k road race on a flat, fast loop forms the heart of this Ulverston event, taking place on 9 September 2026 at Glaxo Smith Kline sports ground. The 5k gets underway at 6.45pm, with a fun run starting earlier at 6.15pm. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in male and female categories, plus age-group winners from U18, U16 and veterans (40+), with team prizes also on offer for the first three club teams. All 5k finishers receive mementos, and fun runners get medals.
Parking, changing facilities, toilets and refreshments are available on site. The 5k is open to runners aged 11 and over, while children under 8 in the fun run must be accompanied by an adult.
