About Hoby Hop Trail Race
The Hoby Hop Trail Race marks its tenth anniversary with a five-mile trail run across the Upper Wreake valley near Melton in Leicestershire. Taking place on 3 October 2026, the course traverses fields, stiles, brooks and traditional footpaths with undulating terrain and views over the surrounding countryside.
The race is based at Hoby & District village hall, which will provide facilities including bag storage, toilets and number collection on the day. Runners aged 12 and over are welcome to enter. The event also welcomes Canicross participants (runners with dogs) alongside the standard trail race.
