About Holyrood Park 5k/10k/Half Marathon
Holyrood Park's November running festival offers three distances across trail terrain at The Lang Rig in Edinburgh. Participants can choose between a 5 km, 10 km, or half marathon (13.1 miles) on 8 November 2026, with staggered starts beginning at 9.30am for the longest distance.
The 5 km course forms a 5.2 km loop around Holyrood Park, near Arthur's Seat. Race numbers are collected on the day at registration, and bag drop facilities are available. First aid support will be on site throughout the event.
