About Hope Trail Festival 12/24/36 Hour
The Hope Trail Festival spans three days in July 2027 and revolves around a well-marked 5-mile trail loop at Newnham Park in Plymouth. Runners tackle the circuit repeatedly across 12, 24 or 36-hour timed events, with the option to enter as a solo runner, pair or team of 3 to 8 members.
The festival caters to various endurance appetites and group sizes. Pairs and teams nominate one member to run at a time, though all team members may complete a final lap together. A single checkpoint approximately 2 miles into the loop provides water, cola, Tailwind Mandarin Orange and snacks. Mandatory kit requirements include a primary light source for night running. The venue offers free participant camping, off-road parking, drinking water, toilets, and food and trade outlets. Finishers receive bespoke medals, with bronze, silver and gold awarded for the 12, 24 and 36-hour categories respectively; those reaching 100 miles receive an additional buckle.
