About Hopwood Trot
The Hopwood Trot suits runners looking for an evening trail race on the outskirts of Middleton. Taking place on 5 August 2026, this 8.8 km trail run starts at 7:00pm from the sports field at the College, with registration and chip collection based in the Sports Hall beforehand.
Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in both men's and women's categories, plus first place in age categories and team prizes. The event is limited to 200 entries. Note that the course is not suitable for wheelchair users.
