About Hurstbourne 5
Hurstbourne 5 appeals to a mix of abilities, from casual fun runners to club athletes and locals keen for an off-road outing. Held annually since 2009, this five mile trail race starts in the village of Hurstbourne Tarrant and winds through the North Wessex Downs, following part of the Test Way as it passes through woods and farmland.
The course is entirely off road, treading rural footpaths and woodland tracks with a couple of gentle undulations to contend with. Run entirely by volunteers, the event takes place on 1 May 2027, with all proceeds going to local charities.
