About Hurtwood 50K
The Surrey Hills provide the backdrop for this 50k trail ultra, which follows a fully signed long-distance route through Mole Valley. The course is structured as an out-and-back with a 5-mile loop near the front of the field, and runners will find checkpoints offering food and drinks at 7, 13, 18 and 24 miles. Participants have ten hours to complete the distance.
Freedom Racing organises the event, which takes place on Sunday 6 December 2026, starting and finishing at Dorking Sports Centre on Reigate Road. The race uses SportIdent timing with live leaderboards and results published throughout the day. Runners must be at least 16 years old to take part.
