About Inflatable 5K - Bakewell, Derbyshire
The Inflatable 5K takes runners through a course of giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels on 12 September 2026 at Bakewell CofE Infant School in Derbyshire. Participants navigate a 2.5 km circuit repeatedly, with distances of 5 km, 10 km and 15 km available, encountering 30, 60 and 90 obstacles respectively as they complete each lap.
This is a fun-focused, non-timed trail event. The route is marked throughout, with a water station at the midway point, music zones, and medical cover on site. Finishers receive a medal, goodie bag and refreshment. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult (up to three children per adult). A spectator area is free to access, and food and drink vendors operate at the venue alongside toilet facilities.
