About Into The Woods 10K
Into The Woods takes place on 9 August 2026 as a 10 km trail race based at White Wicket near Clun in Shropshire. Runners start from Clun Memorial Hall and head into forestry, following single-track trails through conifer and oak woodland with over 800 feet of elevation gain. The fully marked and marshalled route concludes with a downhill finish.
There is no cut-off time, so participants can run at their own pace. The event is dog-friendly with only two stiles on the route, though dogs must be kept on leads due to the possibility of livestock. Chip timing is provided, and finishers receive a medal.
