About Inverbroom Hill Race
Inverbroom Hill Race offers a genuine Highland experience wrapped around a challenging short course. The 4.2 km out and back route, based at Inverbroom Farm south of Ullapool, packs 330 metres of ascent into demanding terrain across mixed ground towards Clachan along the historic Coffin Road. Steep technical sections punctuate the race, with views across An Teallach, the Fannichs and the surrounding landscape as reward for the effort.
Taking place on 8 August 2026 as part of the Lochbroom and District Sheepdog Trials, the event has a strong community focus. Proceedings start at midday and blend racing with a wider Highland celebration. Refreshments, home baking and a burger van feature alongside afternoon fundraising activities, with all race proceeds split equally between Highland Hospice and LoveOliver Childhood Cancer Charity.
