About Isle of Man Marathon & Half Marathon
The Isle of Man Marathon & Half Marathon follows an undulating road course that takes in the Manx Northern route, starting and finishing in Ramsey. Runners head along Mooragh Promenade, past the former Grand Island hotel site, and continue through Bride, Andreas and St Judes before turning back towards Ramsey. Marathon participants complete two laps, crossing the finish line at Ramsey Ballacloan Football Stadium.
Taking place on 9 August 2026, the event offers three distances: a 5 km run, a half marathon at 13.1 miles, and the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles. The half marathon has established itself as an award-winning event within the calendar.
