About Ivybridge 3 Tops
Ivybridge 3 Tops is a 10 km trail race organised by Erme Valley Harriers, reviving a historic fell race on Dartmoor. Runners gather at Ivybridge rugby club before a short walk to the moor edge start, where the senior course unfolds across approximately 450 metres of climbing. The route traverses Western Beacon, open moorland towards Weatherdon, and takes in Glasscombe Ball and Ugborough Beacon, with a mix of clear tracks and sections requiring route finding over tussocky ground, finishing with a descent back to the rugby club.
The event takes place on 15 August 2026 at St Luke's Hospice in the South Hams. Junior races also start and finish at the moor edge, with their own challenging elements built into the routes. The route and access have been agreed with Dartmoor National Park Authority and local landowners.
