About Jay's Aim Family Colour Run - Bude

Held at Bude Rugby Football Club beside the River Neet, this family colour run takes place on 13 September 2026 across the club's main and training pitches. Participants tackle short cross-country courses while being doused in environmentally friendly coloured holi powder made from corn starch at designated colour stations. Runners are advised to wear white or old clothes and sunglasses, as the powder coating is part of the fun.

Registration happens on the day at the Jay's Aim gazebos, where competitors collect their run number and complete emergency contact details. The event is marshalled and fully insured with medical cover provided by Omega Medical. Children aged four and over can take part, with under-sixes requiring supervision from a participating adult throughout the course. A pre-run warm-up to music sets the tone before competitors start, and the rugby club bar opens afterwards with a BBQ in operation, with proceeds benefiting Jay's Aim.
