About Jim Young Marymass 10K
The Jim Young Marymass 10K takes runners on a flat 10 kilometre loop through Irvine, starting on Montgomery Lane and progressing through the town's streets and cycle paths before heading towards the coast. The route heads to the Three Stanes Roundabout, then returns along Marine Drive to finish near the beach at the former Magnum Leisure Centre, with just the final stretch crossing grass.
Organised by Irvine Running Club and licensed by Scottish Athletics, the race takes place on 19 August 2026. The event doubles as the Ayrshire Harriers 10K Championship, drawing both club runners and recreational athletes to this established fixture on the local running calendar.
