About Joy Cann 5
The Joy Cann 5 takes place on 5 August 2026 in Blaby, Leicestershire, as part of the Leicestershire Road Running League Summer League. Organised by Huncote Harriers, this 5 mile road race honours club runner Joy Cann and has been a fixture in the local racing calendar since 1993.
The course is undulating, routing through Huncote, Narborough and Enderby on roads and pavements. The event features chip timing and attracts a competitive field. For 2026, the race is open to Leicestershire Road Running League club members only, with places limited to 800 runners. Participants must be aged 16 and above, and there is a 1 hour 15 minute cut-off time. A proportion of race profits goes to local charities.
