About Jubilee Drop
Jubilee Drop is a fell race taking place on 27 December 2026 in Denbighshire. The 2.5-mile trail run starts from the Moel Famau summit and descends the eastern side of the mountain, finishing in the village of Cilcain below. With a net descent of around 350 metres over the 4 km course, it offers a shorter alternative to the nearby Jubilee Plunge, which runs down the opposite slope.
The course is partially marked and runners must be over 16 to take part. Registration happens at the Moel Famau summit on the day. The race is insured by the Welsh Fell Running Association, and a donation bucket will be available at the White Horse pub in Cilcain after the finish.
