About Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run
Taking place on 22 May 2027, the AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run welcomes young runners to Manchester Regional Arena on the Etihad Campus. The event offers two road distances: a 1.6km run for mini runners aged 3 to 8 (accompanied by a parent) and a 2.5km run for juniors aged 9 to 15, both on closed roads.
The event is designed as a full day out, with on-course music, a dedicated finish line experience, and an event village featuring exhibitors and food and drink options afterwards. Young participants receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal, with official event photos available to purchase.
