About Kinloss Running Festival
The Kinloss Running Festival takes over Kinloss Barracks Training Area on the Moray coast for a weekend of racing across 29-30 August 2026. Trail runners can choose between a 1 km kids' fun run or a 10 km race, both starting and finishing at the Race Village on Salmond Street.
The terrain is predominantly off-road, mixing grass, gravel and sand across minimal elevation. Water stations are provided on the 10 km route. The festival supports SSAFA (Inverness-shire & Western Isles Branch) and ABF - The Soldier's Charity, with proceeds from entries going to these causes. First aid and an AED unit will be on site, and all entrants aged 14 or over will need to bring photographic ID.
