About Kirkcaldy Parks Relay
Kirkcaldy's historic landmarks and parks form the backdrop for this two-person half marathon relay, taking place on 30 August 2026. The 13.1-mile road course starts and finishes in Beveridge Park, passing through Dunnikier Park, Ravenscraig Park, the Fife Coastal Path, and the refurbished waterfront before returning home. The undulating terrain includes around 236 metres of elevation gain, combining steady climbs with faster sections throughout.
Introduced as part of the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, the relay invites teams to share the challenge of Fife's only half marathon route through the 'Lang Toun'. Runners experience parkland and coastal scenery while tackling one of the region's established road running courses.
