About Lewes 3 Peaks - Guided Run
The Lewes 3 Peaks guided run takes runners through the South Downs around Lewes, passing three notable summits: Mount Caburn, Firle Beacon and Kingston Ridge. Starting and finishing in the town centre, this looped trail route covers approximately 18–19 miles with over 2,600 feet of elevation gain across predominantly off-road terrain. The run is organised as a guided group outing, allowing participants to enjoy the landscape at a social pace and take photographs along the way.
The event takes place on 12 September 2026, meeting at Friars Walk Car Park on Court Road. A GPX file is provided for reference, and photos taken during the run will be shared afterwards with participants. Trail Explorers has organised this as a single-loop experience suitable for those comfortable with longer distances and significant elevation.
