About Lincolnshire Farm Run
Running across the Lincolnshire countryside, the Lincolnshire Farm Run takes place at Gainsborough Golf Club in Thonock on 9 August 2026. Competitors choose their distance—5 km, 10 km, half marathon (13.1 miles), marathon (26.2 miles) or ultra-marathon (32 miles)—and complete laps of a 2.5 km trail course through farm fields. The out-and-back route is straightforward to navigate, with a fuel station positioned at the end of each lap so runners can travel light. Participants can begin their final lap anytime up to the five-hour fifty-nine-minute mark.
The compact mud underfoot and the lap-based format create a sociable atmosphere. Parking and toilet facilities are close by, and finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag.
