About Lochbroom 12K
The Lochbroom 12K takes runners and walkers along a trail route that follows the River Broom through the Highland countryside. An out and back course starting from Clachan Church near Ullapool, it weaves through the rural landscape with mountain views framing the route before returning to the start. Participants can tackle the full 12K distance or opt for the shorter 6K option.
This community event welcomes both runners and walkers while raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Previous editions have included post-race refreshments featuring home baking. Taking place on 19 September 2026, it combines a scenic trail experience with a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.
