Heaton Park in Manchester hosts this unusual endurance challenge, where runners complete the same wooded loop within Heaton Park repeatedly over 24 hours. Participants must finish each lap within 60 minutes to continue to the next; the format means competitors can choose their own distance based on how many loops they complete, with options spanning 10 km through to a full marathon distance and beyond. On the 24th lap, the event transforms into a final race where a single overall winner is crowned, with separate male and female champions recognised.

The terrain winds through forest-track sections with undulating ground. The event base provides changing and rest facilities, water points, a café, first aid support and parking. Runners can store food and use kitchen facilities including a kettle, fridge and microwave. The event welcomes adults aged 18 and over, and well-behaved dogs on leads are permitted. Spectators can watch from the start and finish area. All finishers receive a wooden medal, with a handmade wooden trophy awarded to the overall winner.
